Psssttt...Need a Bit Of Help Here

My dear sweet friend,
Laurie, has a blog.
It's a wonderful blog.
She has had 3 wonderful
blogs.
Blogland ate the first one.
A computer virus ate her second one.
The third one was only up for
a short time...she will tell
you why.

 Laurie, being Laurie,
is persistent.
She laughed at the
Dirty Devil BlogGod
and started a new blog.
It is called

Her other one was called
When The Bough Breaks.
I tried to tell her she was
tempting fate but to no avail..
ok..I might have lied about
that part.

She does beautiful artwork.
Her story is amazing.
She is a wonderful artist but
she is losing her sight...and
at a quicker pace than predicted.
However, don't feel sorry for
her- she doesn't want
sympathy.
She just kind of states things
AS THEY ARE.
She is a realist that way.
Her story is amazing
and will touch your heart.

You know the really
GOOD THING?
She paints
AMAZING WORD PICTURES.
Seriously!
I love her stories.
And, now she can tell them
all over again because
the old ones are GONE!
Poof!  A computer virus
took them away.

Please help her get her
followers back.
She will thank you.
I will thank you.
God will smile at you
for your good heart.

And...if all else fails
and you
DON'T GO SIGN UP
AS A FOLLOWER,
I just might send
the Royal Canadian Mounted
Police after you.
Whoa...wait a minute...
that might not be such a
BAD THING!

I did tell you she was
Canadian, didn't I?
pfffft...I won't hold
THAT against her.
Okay..smile....
That WAS a joke!

I have to hand it to Laurie for trying 3 times to do a blog and I figured that once the blog is out there, it would always be. You can send that Canadian Mountie my way by the way.

I wondered where she was. Thanks, friend, for letting us know.
Now, send that Man in Red my way. :))

Regarding the PAD...I had a hard time for awhile but after 6 surgeries and heavy duty blood thinners, I am blessed with doing GREAT now. I had a stent placed behind my left knee a little over two yrs ago and never looked back. I can't walk as far or as long as I did once...but....
I CAN WALK. !!
Thanks for your concern.
love, bj

Great post Diana, I know the feeling of your blog disappearing, a few years back, my original blog was taken by blogger, it had been a blog of 3 years, after trying for 2 months to retrieve it, I gave up & started over, it's been almost 3 years now.... Beginning again can be a good thing~ Off to see Laurie.... Have a beautiful weekend~ xox

Actually I wouldn't mind that specimen of the Mounted Police outside my door! What ever you were intending to do won't be helped by the prize you are offering to not do it!!! As your friends we'll do it anyway....see how pliable we really are!? Joan

Hi Diana, I did pay Laurie a visit and I admire her writing and her blog. I will be reading hers along with my others. I so enjoyed your blog and especially the one of your granddaughter playing soccer. Aren't they so cute. I enjoy watching them grow and enjoy your blog so much. Take it easy in the heat. Have a great weekend. Hugs Your Missouri Friend.

Hi Diana....such a nice post about your blogging friend...I am going over there to see her artwork because that one picture you posted is wonderful...How is Miss Sweet Cheeks doing....I thought of her the other day when I saw on Facebook that there is a bakery here in Georgia called "Sweet Cheeks"....I didn't think they should be allowed to steal her name...and it's a shame she doesn't live near Miss B I think they would be a match made in Heaven....B is celebrating her birthday this Wednesday with tea with "Eloise" at the Plaza....I think SC would fit right in :)

What a wonderful generous thing you did for Laurie...now I wonder why I didn't think to do something like that for her!
Thank goodness for kind hearted people like you. :D
