Do YOU See A Rabbit?

Is anyone old enough
to remember the movie
HARVEY?
James Stewart
played a sweet, gentle,
slightly bemused man
who believed he lived
with a big rabbit...
A Pooka.
The pooka's name was Harvey.
It was a funny show and
has always stuck with me.

The rabbit was ALWAYS
up to some mischief
and caused the whole family
a lot of problems.
No one in the family
believed he was real-
except James Stewart.
The ending to the movie
was quite endearing.

Anyway,
Speaking of mischief~
MamasBoy and my DaughterInLove
went to have their
"We're pregnant" photo shoot.
They are soon to have their
first baby.
HE SWEARS
he had nothing to do with it.

What do YOU think?
You know what they say about rabbits!

your photo name

You made me smile this morning ... as you always do. When I was in high school and college, I belonged to a theater group. The first play I did with them was Harvey. I still have a soft spot for this story, and I recently bought a rose named 'Pookah' (different spelling, but the same idea).

Congratulations to everyone on the impending arrival of another precious grandbaby.

From the stories you've told about the son, I think Harvey fits right in .

Love that movie! Congratulations to the couple and Grandma and Grandpa on the coming baby! Should we start thinking of blog nicknames for it yet?

You are so delightfully funny in your posts. I do remember that movie but it's been such a long time ago that I don't remember much about it except James Steward.

Well yes I remember Harvey! It was one of many dates with my husband when we were courting 22 years ago. It was at a theater/play house near where we live. The Play was wonderful because it had that big fuzzy rabbit wandering around the stage...too cute!
Congrats on the "almost here" new arrival...how fun is that!
Hugs dear girl!

You just can't fail with any old Jimmy Stewart movie. They don't make em like that anymore.

Congratulations on the future arrival! You just can't have too many grandchildren.

I think Mamas Boy is a little like Mama when it comes to teasing.
How did you know that Whitt's is custard. Do you have them where you live as well. It is so yummy. Ours is a tiny store. When we walked in Sue and her husband looked back at me like I was crazy. It was wall to wall people. We are talking a tiny store. But Sue's husband just loved it.

Congratulations on the couple...
Oh rabbits are so cute.

Donna said...

Well, I think the rabbit needs more carrots - he's wearing glasses, isn't he? And, Oh my gosh, I loved Harvey - and James Stewart! Now, he was an actor! Could play any role, be believable in any movie, not cuss up a storm or show private parts, because he was believable no matter who he was in any movie!

So, was this an early photo or do you already have a little baby you've been hiding away?!

Blessings,
Donna
