WHERE IS THE BABY?

Now I suppose because you know
that we have a
New Grandbaby
that I am talking about
THAT baby, right?

Nope!
I am talking about
SweetCheeks Bitty Baby.
She had one of the twins.
It looked a lot like her..
dark hair and sweet little
chubby cheeks.

I made a whole suitcase
of clothes for this baby.
And now it seems it has
gone missing.
Where IS your twin, SweetCheeks?
I dunno!
Is it in the basement?
No.....
Is it in your room?
Noo...
Is it in your toy basket in the family room?
Nooo Nana!  I telled you I dohn't know
where it is.

We sit in silence for a minute or so.
Nana?
Yes, honey?
I knhow where it is and Ih'll
tell you, okay?
Okay!
You know my Mom?
Yeah?
Well, she taked it in the woods
where the deers hide and lefted it there.
She did?
Yeah...I know so and guess what?
WE cahn't go in there because
there are NO DEER signs
that sumbudy putted up.
Really? (asked rather disbelievingly)
SerioUSly, Nana!  Thass whut happened!
(Notice how the head is now turned down
and away from my piercing glance?;>)
An hour later we were sitting at
Starbucks with Mama and Uncle Ryan.
So, I mention casually to Mama,
I hear you put SweetCheeks doll
out in the woods with the deer.
As soon as I said that
SweetCheeks stuffed her mouth
full so she couldn't answer any
questions.
REALLY?  Mom asked...Where
did you hear that?
SweetCheeks told me.

SweetCheeks swallowed her mouthful
Ummmm..I think I makeked a mistake.
Uh...yeah...I think you did!
To punish - or not to punish-

(Does it count as a YES if everyone turns
their head to the side when they laugh
so that SweetCheeks doesn't see it)?

To punish or not to punish - as a Grandma myself umm mmm mmmm (I'm stuffing my mouth with bread and tea so I can't talk right now .....)

Wishing you all a blessed Thanksgiving!

Diana
She is going to be a writer-I know it!
I hope someone is getting all her 'stories' on paper for her.
Let me know when her first book comes out!

Oh how sweet, kids keep us kicking, don't they.
I wanted to ask you if you went up to the tabs and read what I have written so far. I've got a tab up top that tells more about them. I have started and deleted this story so many times..
I think most folks are tired of what I'm doing.
But guess what, I am gonna try..and your one comment is going to spur me on to do it.
Thanks for stopping by,

How could you not laugh at this child? She's so funny! Although, I do wonder where Bitty Baby is.

She is so delightful!!! I love her no answers by putting her glance down, or stuffing food in her mouth!!
I think if the punisher can't see your eyes, your vote doesn't count!!

Oh that Sweetcheeks :) It's so hard to punish them when you're laughing isn't it? Aren't you glad you get to be grandma with her and not mom? :) Congratulations on your new grandson!! What a handsome and big boy he is!! I'm a bit partial to his middle name too :) (That's my hubby's name).
Blessings,
Marcia
