SOMEONE Has A Message For You AND A Recipe!

I am at work while
you are reading this.

I didn't want to leave you
without a message
so
SweetCheeks,
sporting a brand new hair cut,
wanted to give
you this little message...
And after you have said
YOUR
Good Mornings...
Throw THIS into your crock pot...

Because your family will love
you,
morning, noon or night!
Yeah...it is THAT good!
My whole family loves this
soup-even the non-soup lovers!

Wild Rice Soup-Crockpot Recipe
1/2 cup wild rice, rinsed
1/2 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup diced celery
1 pound chicken breast
(cut into 1" pieces)
3- 14oz cans chicken broth.
(reserve 1 cup broth)

Put all above ingredients in crock pot.
Cook on low 6 to 8 hours.

20 minutes before serving.
Uncover.
Stir together:
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup all purpose flour

After mixing sour cream and flour together
slowly add :
One cup reserved broth.
Slowly stir into hot crock pot soup.

Leave cover off and cook about 20 minutes.
It will thicken slightly.

Meanwhile:
Toast 1/2 to 1 cup sliced almonds.

Serve in mugs or bowls and sprinkle with almonds.

YUM!
Eat 2nd (or 3rd) mug full and complain that
you are
TOO FULL!
Oh- Wait-That is MyHero's job!
Maybe YourHero will love it too!

SOMEONE said it looks
like sumbuddy
throwed up in the cup...
and I'll just be leaving you with
THAT thought!

oh oh - I can almost eat that! If I leave out the flour and sour cream. : -) Wonder if it would still look like vomit? LOL....: -)

Good morning! Tell SC well done. I'm not sure if my guys would eat vomit...but they have eaten alot of things that I would never touch.
This recipe looks complicated this early in the morning. I'll have to come back once the sun's up and look it over again.
Love, love, love SC's new haircut! It's short and spunky like she is. Fits her well.
And Lordy, were those eyes that I saw? Love her dimples.
Have a great day at work!

Sounds delicious and it is raining and cold here, so it would be a great dinner, but I'm out of celery and onions. I guess I'll have to file the recipe away for future use.

Good Morning, Diana!
Please tell Miss SweetCheeks that Taggart was playing on the floor next to my chair as I started the video. He stopped what he was doing and tried to get on my lap so he could get a better look at her video! I picked him up and he watched the whole thing. He loves our granddaughters (ages 7 and 4), and couldn't resist that sweet voice singing out of my computer!

Thanks for the sweet song - and for inciting my morning Corgi giggle! I hope you and yours have a happy weekend.
xoxo
