Prepare For A Scare

My sweet Mimi,
along with BabyE,
has been here since
late yesterday.

We have been
BUSY!

Today she took a ride
with her sister up
North to Door County
to see her
Uncle Steve & Aunt Carol.

While they were gone
I dug out a bit of
my
Halloween stuff.
(yes~I know I'm late)

So, because I am cooking
up a storm for
PACKER SUNDAY,
I will leave you with
one little
folk art painting.
I call it
Prepare For A Scare

This is one I painted when
our kids were quite young.
I saw a similar one
somewhere and painted
this one on a small
chalkboard.
It is of our
three youngest children
(who, unlike their older brother)
still thought it was cool
to dress up for
Halloween.
(I don't know why this shows up
so "milky"..it is actually a bright painting)
I'll be back around tomorrow
to chat you all up!
Promise!

Off to root for the
PACKERS!

http://www.digsdigs.com/50-great-halloween-mantel-decorating-ideas/
I usually just decorate in harvest style but these 50 mantels are the most darling
I do not like skeletons and the such but there is one mantel decorated in dark black trees with a green skeleton...it struck my funny bone and I love the one with the cat head banners....that is my favorite.
have fun at the packer party.
hugs and love

Hi Diana Sweetie...
What a lovely share. I love your painting sweetie, it is so precious. How fun to have painted it on a chalkboard, I like that most of all. (chalkboards are so versitile.) I love the way the little kitty cat is holding on to the ghost, not to mention that scary snake right behind. How priceless this is. You are so talented sweetie.

I have missed blogging. So happy to be back and atem. Loving the new computer and trying to get over to see each blogging friend. I will be reading back to catch up for the last month I have been gone.

Many hugs sweetie and SO much love, Sherry

Golly, you got a post in there on me that I didn't know about.
Yeah, so you can paint. Holding out on all of us, aren't you...what else can you do???
I'll bet you're a brain surgeon, or or or a CIA spy. No...you own Starbucks- that's why you plug it on here so much. That's it.
Love this little painting of the kids. You paint one mean snake, woman.
I have decorated some inside- but nothing outside yet. I left it to Craig this year. The crap is still in a tote under the deck.
I think I need to fire him.
