The Proper Way To Hold Your Racquet

SweetCheeks loves her
tennis lessons.
They are available
for a small fee
through the
Parks and Rec
Department in our town.
You can read about'
her first lesson here.
As soon as the
car is parked
she gets out and
runs down the
hill to the court.
Today
she is showing us
The Proper Way
to hold a
tennis racquet
Yohu hold it lihke
thihs!
You do?
Noh...jus' foolin'
yohu hold
it lihke thihs!
Hmmm..I'll
bet she doesn't really
know how to hold it
at all, Mom.

Yesss! Ih! Do!
An' how cohme itss so
bright out herhe?
I can harhdly see!
Lookit-Ria cahn't see

No whining allowed!
You can bet when she is
16 and some cute young
guy asks her to go play
tennis..
she won't complain that
it is
"too bright".
No. She. Won't!
I hope I'm around to
remind her about
days like today!

I love her sense of humor, and I will bet when she is 16, there is a couple of boys that will be happy to take her to play tennis.

Shoot, that boy better behave 'cause by that time she will know how to really swing that racket! If she doesn't whack him, her nana will get him with her cane! LOL
Her attitude has sure changed since the first lesson- glad she is getting into it. They all look so cute. Is SC taller than the net?

How cute Diana..what a great sport to get into . I have friends that play weekly. I never was very good at tennis, in fact that is the way I really did hold the racket LOL

Get that poor child some sun glasses. It is too bright. And - when she's sixteen she might fall for some old ugly boy if it's so bright she can't see. You do want her to have a handsome fella, don't you?

Me thinks she is a lot like her grandmom - she has your "funness" and "love of life"! She is sooo cute!

That will be a fun day when Nana get to say, "remember when the light hurt your eyes?". It will be here before you know it. Ginger :)

You know, when she's 16 and dating she will be mortified when you show her boyfriends your blog and all the cute photos of her. Don't let her near your passwords or you might find the whole thing deleted one day.
