Secrets- I Have A Secret-

Did you come here
looking for
a
MURDER MYSTERY?
Huh?
Or did you come here
looking to see
who I was going to
DISH THE DIRT
on?
Did you?
Well,
MY SECRET
is..
I have a
SECRET AGENT
in my family!
'Deed I do..
She's a Federal Agent
and
I never show her picture here..
nor do I ever mention her real name
I just call her
TheSecretAgent.
TheSecretAgent
is married to
MamasBoy-
(who has earned his moniker)
He always loved his
Mama (ME)
when he was little..
and he still
loves his Mama today..
Although he would
never come right out
and SAY
I LOVE MY MOM..
But we all know he does.
Now, the BEST PART
of MamaBoys life
is..
TheSecretAgent.
If you ever get a
daughter-in-law
I hope you are blessed
to get one like this..
One who gives you,
for no apparent reason,
little gifts like this
little plaque
that says...
Crummy picture I took
but you get the idea..
It sits on my desk where
I see it every time I open
up my computer.
AND..
At Christmas..
where lots of people
just paste any old tag
on a present
TheSecretAgent
makes each tag
a presentation
in itself...
I saved all of mine..
because they are
little works of art...
Is that cute, or what?
But...
so far...
my FAVORITE gift
came in a
red & white box
filled with
red & white notes..
one memory
for each 60 years..
written by her
and
MamasBoy.
Here's my favorite one
from her...
You know what it says?
It Says..
Every time I notice another similar trait we share
I realize MamasBoy only loves me because I remind
him of you.
Now...doesn't that make you
want to cry from joy?
It did!
It made me want to cry from joy!
I did!
I did cry a little bit...
cuz I think that's the nicest
thing a daughter-in-law
could ever say...
And I realize that...
I am blessed!!!!
Then I got to thinking...
But..
But...
if she is just like me....
I hope when he acts up..
and smarts off..
Wellll....
I'm hoping she doesn't spank him
cuz that would just be weird);>)

How sweet! I pray for my children to find the perfect spouses that God has picked out just for them. It seems that you are very blessed to have a great DIL.

What a blessing! Isn't it wonderful when your sons and daughters choose to marry people you can love and get along with? My daughter has blessed me with a wonderful son in law and my own little Momma's boy has blessed me with a wonderful daughter in law, also. She's very loving and selfless and puts him and the baby first. The only issue with that is, if you give her money for a gift she'll buy something for one of them. *lol* But, that's much better than being selfish. He's really found a good one!

Wow, that really is amazing! And a true compliment, not to mention a huge testament to the great Mom/Nana/MIL/wife/friend that you are (and all of the other "hats" you wear, too!). Hugs:)

Hi Sweetie...
Oh girl, I am just laughing and laughing. I can just see her spanking him, turned over her knee. Ha! Ha! Ha!

I wonder if this Secret Agent DIL of yours can be adopted? Would you ask her please? I could use one of those in my family.

I love these little notes of love. She put a lot of thought into this gift and what a keeper she is. I LOVE it.

Thank you for sharing Diana sweetie. As always I so enjoyed my visit. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

This was such a wonderful post...I need to copy and paste it my memory folder.
I was raised by a mom who holds very negative beliefs that have done me harm and this is one of the big ones. Having only one child and it being a boy I have feared the worst...he'll find someone and I wont see him again because this is how it goes according to mom. So much is written about how more important it is to have a daughter because they never leave you and the bond is closer. This makes me crazy!
Reading this post made me so happy you have no idea. I believe it was written for me in mind if that makes sense!
Thank you Diana ...you've been a blessing to me!

I adore that quote...a Nana has the most open arms a child could ever run to. I just may have to post that on facebook having a couple of sweet little grandchildren myself. We are blessed and blessed by the girls our boys got!

I've always prayed for my kids' FUTURE spouses. I have one daughter who is married to an awesome guy who couldn't be a better husband or father. Couldn't be a better guy if I hand picked him. My daughter Kate just got engaged and I think we've got another winner. Sounds like you are blessed in the same way and she's crafty and sentimental too! I can't wait to see what daughter-in-laws my sons bring me.
