An Oh-So-Sweet Surprise Is Coming

Here are two sets
of little hands
with painted fingernails.
They are sittting
like little
bumps on a log..
waiting for their
nails to dry.
WHY?
Why are their nails painted?
Why indeed!
Why is there so much
excitement in the air?
The third little set of
painted fingernails
is holding these.
What are they?
They look like
rosy pink
TICKETS
to me..
and they say something...
WHAT
What DO they say?
Oh My!
They are tickets...
Tickets to something special.
What?
What are the tickets for?
What?
What makes tonight so special?
What does that envelope say?
Can you read it?
Can you?
Oh My!
WHO?
Who is causing SweetCheeks
all this distress?
Who is making her squinch her face up
like a baby sucking on a lemon?
WHERE?
Where is this little girl going?
Where is she taking her
blue coat with
the white fur
collar?
WHO?
WHAT?
WHY?
WHERE?
GIVE UP?
Stop by tomorrow..

Oh, I hope they have a such a good time tonight! So fun that you painted their nails! They will remember this for a long, long time.
Can't wait to see more photos and hear all about it!

Is sweet cheeks screwing up her face in anticipation that she may be required to have a little dance with a boy? As my daughter would say eeeewww! No. Is she thinking about the song she's going to entertain everyone with? I don't think so. She seems to be more the fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants kinda gal when it comes to lyrics. (thank goodness, I need my regular comedy fix and the way she dishes it out, one fix lasts at least a week!) Can't wait for the sequel.

Cheers,
Lisa x

So cute! I used to blindfold the little girls at church camp and paint their fingernails. I did stripes, dots and flowers and sometimes did each nail a different color. I blindfolded them because their design was a surprise and since they had to be really still to keep me from messing up their pretty nails they ormally fell asleep. We did this after several stories and just before bed and it was a tricky way to get them to drift off without a struggle. Little girls otherwise have trouble falling asleep their first time away from Mommy. *LOL*
